Lexie is currently doing her PhD in creative writing at the University of Edinburgh where she also holds an MSc. She started Radical Bookshop and Press in 2021 and specializes in genre fiction with a focus on crime and mystery. In 2024, she was shortlisted for the Scottist Book Trust New Writers Awards. Her chapbook A Rough Season was launched by Loft on Eighth Press, and her work has appeared in Gutter Magazine, The Selkie, and Neon Books.

Nadine Brito is a writer from Toronto, currently based in Edinburgh. She holds a Master of Science in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh and an undergraduate degree in Film and Cinema Studies from York University. She writes fiction, short stories, and screenplays that are usually based within the genres of magic realism, gothic, and horror. A featured writer for both FEM Script Lab and Firecracker Department’s Script Reading Series, she has placed in competitions put on by organisations such as the International Screenwriters’ Association (ISA) and WIFT Vancouver. Her prose has been featured in Forest Publishing’s Origin Stories, From Arthur’s Seat, and Short Fiction Break. She is currently adapting one of her feature scripts into a novel.

Charlotte Hayes-Clemens is a freelance editor and writer living in Montreal, with over eight years' experience in publishing. After beginning her career at HarperCollins UK, she has since edited daily news, recipes, and a wide range of book genres from cozy crime to narrative non-fiction, working independently with authors and publishing houses, as well as coaching unpublished writers. Her reading interests are equally vast, but she is especially drawn to dystopian and speculative fiction, magical realism, and contemporary women’s fiction.
